This afternoon I was walking around downtown and one of those volunteers trying to fundraise for SickKids was on the side of the street. They flagged me down, desperate for someone to pitch to. Other people ignored them but I decided I would at least do the "I'm Deaf" thing. So I pointed at my ears and said, "I'm Deaf".
