Hey all,
I have decided to post a few pictures of my hearing aids. I like to decorate them with stickers and stuff since I have short hair and they stand out anyway! Here are some pics!
Yes, I realise they are all my right ear, I can't really take pictures of the left side of my head easily on my own! hehe

Thanks ,Jenny, for answering my questions.
I think your decorated aids are really cool!
: )
Thanks Annie!
Are you deaf or hard of hearing?
Yes, Jenny, I have a severe/profound loss. Mine started many years ago after taking an antibiotic. I began wearing aids 10 yrs later.
My loss has been a slow progression over the years with an initial drop off at 2000hz in both ears from the beginning.
I understand all you are going through up to a certain degree, your loss being totally different from mine,as I had finished my high school education before losing my hearing. I have to admit I did give up on continuing my education as it was too difficult to continue. In the time of my loss there was no help at all beyond hearing aids for the impaired.
So....do "keep on keeping on" You have a fine attitude and I'm sure life will accommodate you.
All the best,
: )
Thank you for your kind words!
I am finished my high school education now and I am on to University in the fall!
Mine was also a slow progression, until it wasn't! Then I lost a lot and very quick.
I have a genetic progressive loss though so we knew it was coming.
Do you use ASL, or any other sign language? Or spoken language?
Wow! Very cute HAs!
This is a great blog. I hope you'll consider adding it to the aggregator at Deaf Village (www.deafvillage.com) -- we'd love to have you as a part of our community!
